Athena Ladies Dormitory Sampaloc is a women-only dormitory that opened its doors last August 2016. Our Athena Family is composed of caring individuals who want nothing but the best for our tenants. We allow students to experience a home away from home.
Athena Ladies Dormitory in Sampaloc provides fully furnished, comfortable, and convenient accommodations. The rooms were designed to give each student a good night’s rest, as we understand that a well-rested student can focus more on her studies. In addition, the dormitory is near different educational institutions like the University of Santo Tomas, the University of the East, and Far Eastern University, making it easier and more convenient for students.
The safety and security of our tenants are also our top priority. We have cameras installed in strategic locations and a 24/7 guarded gate to ensure that everyone who enters and leaves the premises is an authorized tenant and guest. Athena Dorms is also a WI-FI ready environment so students can have access to the internet anytime they need it.
Lastly, we believe that having a nurturing community is one of the factors that can make students excel in their studies. Where is your exact location?
We are 3 to 5 mins. walk to UST near A.H. Lacson gate. Exact location is 1060 Dos Castillas St, Sampaloc, Manila, just behind Dominican School. Using Google Maps or Waze, please search “Athena Ladies Dorm“.
Do you have Wifi in all the rooms?
Yes, FREE fiber WIFI.
Do you accept female dormers only?
Yes, Athena Dorms is only for females.
What are the available units?
We have bed space and room for rent. Bedspace is renting with four persons in a room. Room for rent is the same unit, but only one person is in-charge of signing the contract and paying for the rent. This is ideal for a group of friends who wants to avail of the discounted group rate.
How much is the rent?
(As of October 2022) For bed space, rent ranges from Php 4,500 to Php 6,000, depending on the room.
Room for rent is P18,000 to Php 22,000 depending on the room.
Do you have solo rooms?
Yes. That will be our room for rent at Php 18,000 per month.
What are the terms of payment?
Two months deposit, one month advance, plus 11 Post-dated checks. For cash basis scheme, we require three months deposit.
What is the mode of payment?
Post-dated checks or cash.
How long is the minimum contract?
One year, August to July 30.
Do you accept transient or short-term?
Depends on availability.
Are there any additional charges on top of the rent?
Yes, electricity and water bill will depend on actual use.
What is inside the room?
Aircon, Double Deck Bed frame with Mattress and pillow, cabinet/locker, study table.
Every room has a private toilet (with bidet) and shower (with heater)
What are the other amenities included in the rent?
Free WIFI, Free use of common/study area with kitchen, refrigerator, microwave, induction cooker, and water dispenser per floor.
Do you have FREE room cleaning?
Yes, FREE once-a-week general cleaning per room with UV care disinfection.
Do you have a fire exit?
Yes, two fire exits per floor with a fire alarm, smoke detector, and fire sprinklers.
Do you have a curfew?
No, because we trust our dormers to be responsible, but parents can request us to impose a curfew for their kids if they want.
How about security?
We have a 24/7 receptionist/guard monitoring all our CCTV cameras. There is an electronic main door and another inner door that is accessible through biometric access.
Do you offer Laundry?
Yes, we have a laundry shop partner who picks up and delivers laundry daily and does pressing (ironing) at a reasonable price.
